Board members set the direction for the soccer club with the players of Barbers Hill Youth Soccer Club (BHYSC) foremost in thought. The Board acts as a whole; not as individuals. It is the responsibility of Board members to ensure that the club operates effectively and is responding to the needs of the players, coaches and parents of BHYSC.

All Board members are volunteers and serve without pay. Board members do not have offices within BHYSC and normally respond to calls and emails in the evenings after Board members leave their regular day jobs.
